Fawsley Park LVA

We were asked by the Fawsley Estate to review a planning application for a wind turbine development within the wider setting of the Grade II* Registered Capability Brown designed Fawsley Park.  Our robust review of the application and its supporting documentation helped the District Council reach the conclusion that the application should be turned down.  The applicant subsequently appealed the Council's decision twice and we were asked to act as an Expert Witness on behalf of the Estate at two Planning Hearings.  The application was called in by the Secretary of State who dismissed the second appeal and refused planning permission.
